At the Laboratory for Infant Studies, we conduct basic research in infant perceptual and motor development. Some of our research areas include vision, hearing, vision-hearing and vision-touch coordination, balance control, spatial awareness and comprehension and development of walking.

Our research requires the cooperation of the community. And so, we are reaching out to parents who are willing to bring their children to participate in our research.

Participation in our studies usually involves visiting our research lab located at the University’s Scarborough campus. A typical visit takes around 45 minutes. Appointments are available based on your availability from Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 4pm.

Our current projects involve children between the ages of 8 months to 13 years old.
