Join our panelists from different faith and community backgrounds to discuss and reflect on queer identity, faith and community from 2:30-4:30 pm on March 10th in the Multi Faith Centre's Main Activity Hall. This event will take place as a part of the MFC's Queer Spiritual Spaces Programming. 

This is intended to be a safe, welcoming and inclusive space for discussion and community building. Please RSVP by registering on CLNx before March 10th. 

Panelists: 


Nic da Silva (they/them) is a non-binary psychotherapy and spiritual care student at Emmanuel College. A former Roman Catholic seminarian and survivor of religious trauma, Nic is interested in engaging with faith and spirituality in ways which are safe and person affirming. Some of Nic's research interests are Internal Family Systems Theory, Nietzschean and Feminist approaches to psychotherapy, and hip hop spirituality. 


Genesis (they/them) is a Tamil-Malayali spiritually-fluid educator, researcher, and artist with 10+ years of experience in academic, arts education, non-profit, and faith-based settings with a strong knowledge of anti-oppressive principles and intercultural competencies to engage with and accommodate people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. They are currently a Masters of Pastoral Studies student at the University of Toronto working towards a Certificate in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy and accreditation with the College of Registered Psychotherapists in Ontario.
